Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. Her mother is English, the other half Spanish. Her parents are Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker as well as Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. His father is an Argentine with Scottish and English heritage. Her mother is Spanish-English. Taylor-Joy was born into the family of six children. Four of them are siblings from her previous marriage to Taylor's dad. The family was based within Buenos Aires until she was six years old, and then moved to the Victoria neighborhood in London. Taylor-Joy claims that the move in London was stressful and that she didn't learn English so that she could avoid returning to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school after she changed schools from Northlands. In the following year, she joined Queen's Gate School to study ballet and to perform in school's plays. At 16, she left the school to pursue acting as a career. As a child, Taylor-Joy was aware of her desire to become an actress and her dream came true when she received a modeling job by Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
