Sheryl-Underwood
Sheryl Underwood is an American television host, comedian and actress best known for hosting the popular daily talk show The Talk. Sheryl Underwood was born and raised in Arkansas and was raised in Little Rock, Atwater, and Atwater. Sheryl was raised in a difficult family. Sheryl was a part of her youth taking care of her sister Frankie, who had polio. Growing up, she had difficulties with her mom. Sheryl states that in an incident, she was stabbed by her father for getting too close to her. When she graduated from college Sheryl joined the military. Sheryl's interest lay with comedy. She was the first female finalist in the competition Miller Lite Comedy Search held in 1989. Her TV career after becoming a frequent performer at The HBO Comedy Show Def Comedy Jam in 1992. She was the host of the TV show Oh Drama! in 2000. She has appeared as host on The Talk since 2011. In addition, she has appeared on fictional shows such as Bulworth Niki and Beauty Shop.
