Sheryl Underwood is a comic, television host, and actor from the United States. She is best known for her role as The Talk's daytime co-host. Sheryl was raised within Little Rock. Sheryl comes out of a very troubled background. Sheryl was fostered by her sister Frankie. Frankie had suffered from Polio. When she was a kid, her relations with her mother were not always smooth. Sheryl states that one time her mother cut her dad due to his proximity. Sheryl became a member of the military soon after she graduated her college. Sheryl's interest lay with comedy. She was chosen as the first ever female finalist of the Miller Lite Comedy Search, which was held in 1989. Her TV career began in 1992, as a actor on the HBO comedy series Def Comedy Jam. She appeared as host of Oh Drama! as the host in 2000. The present co-host on the Talk talk show since 2011. Also, she appears in fictional roles on series such Bulworth and Nikki as well as Beauty Shop.
