Anna Silk was born in Fredericton as the daughter of Peter Silk, an academic and Ilkay Silk, an multi-talented actress, director, producer, educator, playwright as well as Director of Drama of Drama at St. Thomas University. Anna Silk was born to both a British father as well as an English-Turkish Cypriot mother. Anna appeared in numerous commercials when she was a child. Anna relocated to Toronto so that her acting skills could grow. Later, the actress moved to Los Angeles.
