
Stephanie Sigman is a Mexican American actress. Her most famous role was Miss Bala (2011), which was a Mexican crime-drama film. She also appeared in Pioneer (2013) and Spectre (2015). On TV, Sigman starred in Narcos (2015) and S.W.A.T (2017) for the first and second seasons of both series. Sigman was born to her Mexican mother, and an American father, Lee Sigman (a New York Yankees Scout from Kansas) They were both born in Ciudad Obregon. By virtue of her father, she's the daughter of a U.S. citizen. [2][3][4] Her brother who is a baseball player Kenneth Ray Sigman, was once married to actress Barbara Mori Sigman began her career in the field of Mexican TV before making her debut on film in Rio de Oro. In 2011 she played the lead role in the film Laura Guerrero in the Mexican crime drama film, Miss Bala. [6] The film was picked for consideration as the Mexican entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 84th Academy Awards.
